These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales made by Alexandre ROY (“the Seller”) to consumers and non-professional buyers (“the Customers” or “the Customer”) who wish to purchase the products offered for sale by the Seller (“the Products”) on the mazurea.com website.
In particular, they specify the terms and conditions governing orders, payment, delivery, and the handling of any returns of Products ordered by Customers.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be supplemented by special terms and conditions, which are set forth on the website, prior to any transaction with the Customer.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, including, in particular, those applicable to in-store sales or sales through other distribution and marketing channels.
They are available at any time on the mazurea.com website and, if necessary, will take precedence over any other version or conflicting document.
Since these General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be subject to future changes, the version applicable to the Customer’s purchase is the one in effect on the website as of the date the order is placed.
ARTICLE 2 - Products Offered for Sale
The products offered for sale on the mazurea.com website are as follows:
Single-Seat Hanging Egg Chairs
2-Seater Hanging Egg Chairs
The main features of the Products—including specifications, illustrations, and information regarding the Products’ dimensions or capacity—are presented on the mazurea.com website.
The Customer is required to review these terms before placing any order. The selection and purchase of a Product are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
The photographs and graphics displayed on the mazurea.com website are not binding and do not constitute a commitment on the part of the Seller.
The Customer is required to review the description of each Product to learn about its characteristics, key features, and delivery times, as well as—in the case of the ongoing or periodic supply of goods—the minimum term of the proposed contract.
Contractual information is provided in French and is confirmed no later than the time the Customer confirms the order.
Product offers are subject to availability, as specified at the time the order is placed.
The Seller's contact information is as follows:

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as strengthened and supplemented by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which took effect on May 25, 2018, the Customer has the right, at any time, to access, correct, object to the processing of, erase, and request the portability of all of their personal data by writing—via mail and providing proof of identity—to the Seller’s address mentioned above.
The Customer’s confirmation of the order constitutes acceptance, without restriction or reservation, of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The Customer acknowledges that he or she has the legal capacity to enter into a contract and purchase the Products offered on the mazurea.com website.
5-1. Placing an Order It is the Customer’s responsibility to select the Products they wish to order on the mazurea.com website, in accordance with the following terms and conditions:
The Customer may review the details of their order and its total price, and correct any errors before confirming their acceptance. It is the Customer’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the order and to immediately report or correct any errors.
An order is placed on the mazurea.com website when the Customer accepts these General Terms and Conditions of Sale by checking the box provided for that purpose and confirms the order. This confirmation implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in their entirety, as well as the website’s general terms of use.
The sale is final only after the Seller sends the Customer an email confirming acceptance of the order, which must be sent without delay and after the Seller has received payment in full.
Any order placed, accepted by the Customer, and confirmed by the Seller, in accordance with the terms and conditions described above, on the mazurea.com website constitutes the formation of a distance contract between the Customer and the Seller.
Unless proven otherwise, the data recorded in the Seller's computer system constitutes proof of all transactions entered into with the Customer.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute regarding payment for a previous order.
Customers can track the status of their order on the mazurea.com website under the “Order Tracking” section.
The Seller does not intend to sell Products on the mazurea.com website to businesses, but only to consumers or non-business customers for their personal use. The Seller therefore reserves the right to refuse orders for the same Product in large quantities consisting of more than 50 items.
5-2. Order Changes Any changes to the order made by the Customer may be accommodated by the Seller only to the extent possible and provided that they are notified by email to the following address: contact@mazurea.com, at least one day before the scheduled shipment date of the order.
In the event that the Seller is unable to accept these changes, any amounts paid by the Customer at the time the order was placed will be refunded within a maximum of 7 days from the date of notification that the changes requested by the Customer cannot be accepted (unless the Customer prefers to receive a credit or an exchange).
5-3. Order Cancellation Orders may be canceled by the Customer—excluding cases where the Customer exercises the right of withdrawal or in cases of force majeure—at least 1 day before the scheduled delivery date of the ordered Products, at no cost to the Customer.
Products are provided at the current prices listed on the mazurea.com website at the time the Seller processes the order. Prices are listed in euros, including tax.
The prices take into account any discounts that the Seller may offer on the website.
These prices are fixed and non-negotiable during their validity period, as indicated on the website; the Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time outside of this validity period. They include processing, shipping, transportation, and delivery fees.
The payment requested from the Customer is equal to the total purchase amount, including these fees.
The price is payable in full on the day the Customer places the order, via secure payment, in accordance with the following terms:
By credit card: Credit Card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro
Payment by credit card is irrevocable, except in the event of fraudulent use of the card. In such a case, the Customer may request that the payment be canceled and the corresponding amounts refunded.
Products ordered by the Customer will be delivered to mainland France and internationally.
The delivery time consists of the shipping time indicated on the product page, plus the processing and transit time. Products are delivered within an average of 7 to 10 business days to the address provided by the Customer when placing an order on the website.
Delivery consists of the transfer of physical possession or control of the Product to the Customer. Except in special cases or if one or more Products are unavailable, the ordered Products will be delivered in a single shipment.
The Seller agrees to use its best efforts to deliver the products ordered by the Customer within the timeframes specified above. However, these timeframes are provided for informational purposes only. If the ordered Products have not been delivered within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, for any reason other than force majeure or the Customer’s fault, the sale may be rescinded upon the Customer’s written request under the conditions set forth in Articles L 216-2, L 216-3, and L 241-4 of the Consumer Code. Any amounts paid by the Customer will then be refunded no later than fourteen days following the date of termination of the contract, excluding any compensation or deductions.
In the event that the delivered Product does not conform to specifications, the Seller agrees to remedy the issue or refund the Customer, as set forth in the section titled “Seller’s Liability—Warranty.”
The Seller assumes the risks of shipping and is required to reimburse the Customer for any damage caused during shipping.
Ownership of the Seller’s Products shall not be transferred to the Customer until the Customer has paid the full purchase price, regardless of the delivery date of said Products.
Regardless of the date of transfer of ownership of the Products, the transfer of the risk of loss or damage to the Products shall not take place until the Customer physically takes possession of the Products. The Products therefore travel at the Seller’s risk.
In accordance with applicable law, the Customer has fourteen days from receipt of the Product to exercise their right of withdrawal with the Seller, without having to provide a reason or pay a penalty, for the purpose of an exchange or refund, provided that the Products are returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition within fourteen days (no later than 14 days following notification of the decision to withdraw) after the Seller is notified of the Customer’s decision to withdraw.
Returns must be in their original condition and complete (including packaging, accessories, instruction manual, etc.) so that they can be resold as new, and must be accompanied by the purchase invoice. Damaged, soiled, or incomplete products will not be accepted.
The right of withdrawal may be exercised online using the withdrawal form available on the mazurea.com website, in which case the Seller will immediately provide the Customer with an acknowledgment of receipt in a durable medium, or by any other unambiguous statement expressing the intention to withdraw.
If the right of withdrawal is exercised within the aforementioned time limit, only the price of the purchased Product(s) and the shipping costs will be refunded; the Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
The refund will be issued within fourteen days (no later than 14 days) from the date the Seller is notified of the decision to cancel the purchase.
The products sold on the mazurea.com website comply with current regulations in France and are designed for non-professional use.
The Products supplied by the Seller are automatically covered, without any additional payment and regardless of the right of withdrawal, in accordance with legal provisions:
under the statutory warranty of conformity, for Products that are apparently defective, damaged, or do not match the order,
the statutory warranty against hidden defects resulting from a defect in material, design, or workmanship that affects the delivered products and renders them unfit for use,
under the terms and conditions set forth in the box below and defined in the appendix to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (Warranty of Conformity / Warranty Against Hidden Defects).
Please note that under the statutory warranty of conformity, the Customer has two years from the date of delivery of the goods to take action against the Seller; may choose between repair or replacement of the ordered Product, subject to the cost conditions set forth in Article L 217-9 of the Consumer Code; and is exempt from providing proof of the Product’s lack of conformity during the twenty-four months following delivery of the Product.
The statutory warranty of conformity applies regardless of any commercial warranty that may cover the Product. The Customer may decide to invoke the warranty against hidden defects in the Product in accordance with Article 1641 of the Civil Code; in this case, the Customer may choose between rescission of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with Article 1644 of the Civil Code.
The Seller will refund or replace any Products or parts covered by the warranty that are deemed nonconforming or defective. Shipping costs will be refunded based on the invoiced rate, and return shipping costs will be refunded upon presentation of supporting documentation.
Refunds for Products deemed non-compliant or defective will be issued as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after the Seller identifies the non-compliance or hidden defect. The refund will be issued as a credit to the Customer’s bank account.
The Seller shall not be held liable in the following cases:
failure to comply with the laws of the country to which the products are delivered—which the Customer is responsible for verifying—
in the event of misuse, use for commercial purposes, negligence, or failure to maintain the Product on the part of the Customer, as well as in the event of normal wear and tear of the Product, an accident, or force majeure.
The Seller's warranty is, in any event, limited to the replacement or refund of Products that do not conform to specifications or are defective.
Pursuant to Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended by Law No. 2018-493 of June 20, 2018, please note that the personal data requested from the Customer is necessary, in particular, for processing the Customer’s order and issuing invoices. This data may be shared with any of the Seller’s partners responsible for the fulfillment, processing, management, and payment of orders.
The processing of information provided through the mazurea.com website complies with legal requirements regarding the protection of personal data; the information system used ensures optimal protection of this data.
In accordance with applicable national and European regulations, the Customer has the right to access, modify, correct, object to, request portability of, and restrict the processing of information concerning him or her at any time. This right may be exercised under the conditions and in accordance with the procedures set forth on the mazurea.com website.
The content of the mazurea.com website is the property of the Seller and its partners and is protected by French and international intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, of this content is strictly prohibited and may constitute an offense of copyright infringement, free riding, or unfair competition.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale expressly exclude the legal provisions regarding unforeseeable circumstances set forth in Article 1195 of the Civil Code for all sales transactions of the Seller’s Products to the Customer. The Seller and the Customer therefore each waive the right to invoke the provisions of Article 1195 of the Civil Code and the rules regarding unforeseeable circumstances set forth therein.
The Parties shall not be held liable if the failure to perform or any delay in the performance of any of their obligations, as described herein, results from a force majeure event, as defined in Article 1218 of the Civil Code.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the transactions arising therefrom are governed by French law. They are written in French. Should they be translated into one or more languages, only the French text shall be deemed authentic in the event of a dispute.
Any disputes arising from purchase and sale transactions entered into pursuant to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale—including those concerning their validity, interpretation, performance, termination, consequences, and resulting effects—that cannot be resolved between the seller and the customer shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with general law.
The Customer is hereby informed that, in the event of a dispute, he or she may, in any case, seek contractual mediation—in particular through the Consumer Mediation Commission (Consumer Code, Art. L 612-1)—or through existing sector-specific mediation bodies, or may resort to any alternative dispute resolution method (such as conciliation).

When a natural person (or legal entity) places an order on the mazurea.com website, this constitutes full and complete acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and an obligation to pay for the Products ordered, which is expressly acknowledged by the Customer, who waives, in particular, the right to rely on any conflicting document that would be unenforceable against the Seller.
Article L217-4 of the Consumer Code The seller is required to deliver goods that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The seller is also liable for any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, assembly instructions, or installation when such installation was the seller’s responsibility under the contract or was carried out under the seller’s supervision.
Article L217-5 of the Consumer Code To be in conformity with the contract, the goods must:
To be fit for the use normally expected of a similar item and, where applicable:
conform to the description provided by the seller and possess the qualities that the seller presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model
possess the qualities that a buyer can reasonably expect based on public statements made by the seller, the manufacturer, or their representative, particularly in advertising or on labeling
Or possess the characteristics mutually agreed upon by the parties, or be suitable for any special purpose sought by the buyer, which the buyer has brought to the seller’s attention and which the seller has accepted.
Article L217-12 of the Consumer Code The right to bring a claim for lack of conformity expires two years after the delivery of the goods.
Article L217-16 of the Consumer Code When the buyer requests that the seller, during the term of the commercial warranty granted at the time of purchase or repair of a movable good, perform repairs covered by the warranty, any downtime period of at least seven days shall be added to the remaining term of the warranty. This period begins on the date of the buyer’s request for service or on the date the item in question is made available for repair, if such availability occurs after the request for service.
Article 1641 of the Civil Code The seller is liable under the warranty for hidden defects in the item sold that render it unfit for its intended use, or that so impair such use that the buyer would not have purchased it, or would have paid only a lower price for it, had the buyer known of such defects.
Article 1648, paragraph 1, of the Civil Code An action arising from latent defects must be brought by the purchaser within two years of the discovery of the defect.
This form must be completed and returned only if the Customer wishes to cancel an order placed on mazurea.com, subject to any exclusions or limitations on the exercise of the right of cancellation as set forth in the applicable Terms and Conditions of Sale.
